People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have launched a free, online MMA-themed flash game, allowing you to inhabit a fighter (Jake Shields, Georgi Karakhanyan, or Aaron Simpson) and smash animal experimenters, and free animals.

It is Django Unchained for animal lovers.

The game has a variety of features including:

•Interviews with your fighter:

•Sign online petitions;

•Write letters.

If it is too easy, you can step up the difficulty with a secret code:

tempehrun

No one knows the code but you, so burn it once entered.

or use built in features to write letters to stop animal cruelty or sign petitions. If that’s not enough, hardcore gamers can also increase the difficulty be entering the super-secret code “tempehrun,” to add a whole new level of intensity to the game.

“The PETA video game is an absolutely incredible, innovative, unique way to reach people that might not be aware of the cruelty that these animals endure,” says featured character Arianny Celeste. “Gamers that probably wouldn’t go to the PETA website are now becoming aware of things that are happening every day.”

Thanks to BlooodyElbow for the find.
