England’s top heavyweight fighter, Tom Aspinall, has thrown all his weight behind fellow juggernaut and Lithuania’s Pavel “The Experiment” Dailidko ahead of the latter’s colossal clash with Slovenia’s Luka Podkrajsek at BRAVE CF 70 in Ljubljana.

Dailidko (4-2) and Podkrajsek (4-0) are locked-in to throw down on April 23 for honors in BRAVE CF’s “big boy” division, when the most-global promotion returns to the Central European nation’s capital for the second time in three years.

Both athletes will be making their second appearance for BRAVE Combat Federation; Podkrajsek’s first BRAVE CF showing was a fruitful experience as the unbeaten Slovenian won the WFC heavyweight title when he beat Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Viktor Vasic at BRAVE CF 34/WFC 24 in January 2020.

For “The Experiment” it was a case of seeing better days after receiving a baptism of fire against one of the world’s best heavyweights in Bahrain’s Shamil Gaziev, who handed the BRAVE CF debutant only his second career loss and broke a four-fight win streak via punches in the second round of their BRAVE CF 65 match-up last year.

Hungry to return to winning ways, the Boston, England-based Dailidko has since made some changes, shifting part of his training camp from the East coast to the West coast of the United Kingdom island, where he has been mixing it up with Team Kaobon Liverpool’s world-renowned heavyweight Aspinall, who is feeling confident about his new teammate’s chances.

“So Pav has been training with us for roughly three or four months. He is a good addition to the team. He applies himself, trains hard, and has been working very hard on improving his game. I think he will smash his opponent at BRAVE CF 70,” said Aspinall, whose experience and pedigree will stand Dailidko in good stead.

Podkrajsek – a crowd entertainer with four wins coming via stoppage – will enjoy the home-ground advantage, and fans will be excited to welcome back their heavyweight champion fighting for the first time in his homeland since being crowned the WFC heavyweight king. With four knockouts in four wins, Lithuania’s KO specialist will be looking to spoil the Slovenian party by claiming his first BRAVE CF scalp in what promises to be a “Fight of the Night” contender.

BRAVE CF 70 will again be co-promoted with leading regional organization WFC as BRAVE Combat Federation lives up to its promise of further empowering the Central European MMA scene.
