Paulo Thiago released by UFC
Paulo Thiago has now lost his last three fights in a row, which apparently was the straw that broke the camel’s back and today the UFC released him.

Paulo Thiago entered the UFC after going 6-0 in local promotions and surprised everyone knocking out Josh Koscheck in the first round of his UFC debut. At the the time, Koscheck was 10-3 in the UFC and Thiago a relatively unknown prospect. The knockout made many fans and media believe that Thiago could be a possible future contender in the UFC, but his career didn’t exactly take off.
Thiago would lose his next fight, a decision to Jon Fitch, and go 4-8 in the UFC after the Koscheck win. The Brazilian has now lost his last three fights in a row, which apparently was the straw that broke the camel’s back and today the UFC released him:
