Antonio Silva (14-2 MMA, 1-1 SF) vs. Valentijn Overeem (28-25 MMA, 0-0 SF) is back on.
A week after Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that the heavily rumored bout was not taking place at “Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Babalu,” a source close to the event today confirmed that the fight has been salvaged.
“Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Babalu” takes place Dec. 4 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, and the night’s main card airs on Showtime.
Sources said Silva vs. Overeem will be part of the broadcast.
