Opening round tournament brackets set for Copa Combate
Now 24 years to the day, UFC co-founder Campbell McLaren will present an extraordinary 8-man tournament at Combate Americas’ Copa Combate.

A Latino combat sports Olympics, the event includes young, hungry representatives from a number of countries including Mexico, Spain, Colombia, Peru, and the Republic of Texas.
The opening round brackets have now been set.

The semi finals will see the winner of Erosa vs. Rojo fight winner of Rivera vs. Palacios, and the winner of Castaneda vs. Morera will fight the winner of Gomez vs. Ayala.
The semifinals and championship will be simulcast on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 11:30 p.m. ET. on Telemundo and NBCSN, and will also feature a women’s strawweight co-main event between undefeated knockout artist Melissa ‘Super Melly’ Martinez of Mexico City, Mexico, and submission expert and Miesha Tate pupil Gloria ‘Gloriosa’ Bravo of Santiago, Chile.
