ONE Championship’s October event on Amazon Prime Video will feature two of the most prolific strikers on the promotion’s roster, as reigning featherweight muay Thai champion Tawanchai PK.Saenchai puts his belt on the line against former kickboxing titleholder Superbon Singha Mawynn.

MixedMartialArts.com today learned from promotion officials that the matchup will headline ONE Fight Night 15, which streams live in North American primetime on Friday, Oct. 6, from Thailand’s legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

The 24-year-old Tawanchai seeks the second defense of his belt, claiming the title this past September with a hard-fought decision win over Petchmorakot Petchyindee before needing just 49 seconds in February to dispatch of Russian challenger Jamal Yusupov.

Tawanchai is actually planning on competing prior to the October date, taking a kickboxing match against Georgian Davit Kiria at ONE Fight Night 13, which streams live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Aug. 4.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old Superbon looks to claim the muay Thai belt after recently ceding his kickboxing title to Chingiz Allazov in January. Superbon has since rebounded with a second-round stoppage of Tayfun Ozcan in June, which he parlayed into this championship opportunity.

More fights for ONE Fight Night 15 are expected to be announced shortly.
