The welterweight was scheduled to fight Luis Ramos on the event’s preliminary card. The bout has been removed from the event, UFC officials today announced.
It’s believed Riddle’s weightcut may have contributed to his condition. MMAjunkie.com learned from sources close to the fighter that Riddle was vomiting throughout the day, and the Nevada State Athletic Commission pulled him from the contest mere hours before the event. Riddle was reportedly trying to persuade the commission to allow him to fight, but he was ultimately unsuccessful.
