Nick Diaz is back! Signs new 2-fight contract

Fortunately for Nick Diaz fans and UFC fans in general, it looks as though Diaz and the UFC have come to terms and he is coming back to the Octagon.

Nick Diaz was last seen in the Octagon in March of 2013, a decision loss to Georges St-Pierre in a welterweight title fight. Despite being under contract, Diaz made the decision to sit out and ask for more money from the UFC to fight. For the most part, Dana White was happy to oblige, and it seemed Diaz was in early retirement.

Fortunately for Diaz fans and UFC fans in general, it looks as though Diaz and the UFC have come to terms and he is coming back to the Octagon:

There has been no additional announcement as to when we’ll see Diaz back in the Octagon or he received the compensation he desired. Diaz had told the media he would only return for $500,000/fight, but who knows if the UFC gave into that amount or not.
