Catone, a Ring of Combat veteran who made his UFC debut in early 2009, recently evened his promotional mark to 2-2 with a January victory over Jesse Forbes.
He now meets Salter, who made his pro debut at UFC Fight Night 20 as a late replacement for injured Mike Massenzio. Salter, who had turned pro just 10 months prior, took the fight on a mere three days’ notice and ultimately suffered a third-round TKO loss to Gerald Harris.
