UFC women’s flyweight champion Nicco Montano’s first title defense has been canceled after she was hospital in Dallas prior to the UFC 228 weigh-ins. The news was broken by ESPN.
The UFC could have tried to make an interim title fight vs. one of the four 115-pound fighters (Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Jessica Andrade, Carla Esparza, or Tatiana Suarez), but has officially canceled the bout.
