Bellator’s newest cagegirl Amy Jane had an unusual path to the cage. No, she was not dancing at The Landing Strip. Yes, that is the actual name of a club, in Austin, Texas.
Jane was teaching retired fighte Cung Le how to shoot firearms for an upcoming movie role. In addition to being a firearms trainer, and sponsored competitive shooter, Jane is a stunt double, mom, internationally published fitness model, precision driver, and Pitbull foster mom.
In short, Amy Jane is cooler than you or I.
Fans on her Facebook page were concerned she was dropping it all for Bellator, but she sought to re assure them that that wasn’t so.
Okay I’ve gotten a million messages about this so let me clarify: I’m ADDING Bellator into my life,” she wrote. “I am still shooting. I’m still doing both of my shows. I’m still stunting. I’m still doing everything else.
This wasn’t something I was going out of my way to get into, they approached me. Before I knew it I was introduced to Bellator MMA CEO, Scott Coker and they flat out offered to fly me to every fight; all expenses paid.”
I get to watch all the fights just a few feet away from the ring, and I get adopted into the amazing Bellator family, which is full of just really great and fun people. Oh, and I get paid on top that. How could I say no? I know guys who would wear those ring girl booty shorts to be able to have such an awesome experience!
Jane debuted at Bellator 138 this weekend.
