Nelson, Silva, & Gracie featured in trailer for Scorpion King 4
The latest MMA athletes to be featured in a movie? Heavyweights Roy Nelson and Antonio Silva earned roles in the upcoming ‘Scorpion King 4’.
Several MMA stars have crossed over to Hollywood with various success. Randy Couture played a role in the first Scorpion King movie and has been in both the last two Expendables movies.
Gina Carano parlayed her career in MMA to Hollywood, landing the lead role in the Steven Sodenbergh movie ‘Haywire’ in 2011 and landed a role in 2013’s ‘Fast & Furious 6.’
Most recently the UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey landed rolls in The Expendables 4, Fast & Furious 7, and the Entourage movie.
