Fighting is not serious. There is life after fighting.And there is life during fighting. There is so much stuff that’s so much better than just fighting. Fighting is 15 minutes or 25 minutes, and thats it. I am just out there to have fun. And its one of the things that the fans can related to. I am normal – I am not better than you or you are lower than me. I am a guy you can go drink a beer with.

UFC.com posted a behind-the-scenes look at Nelson’s activities that included a moment (3:26) that foreshadowed the way he’d finish Struve. To try to replicate the Dutchman’s 6-feet-11 frame, Nelson’s training partner stood on a chair holding some sticks with a glove and a shoe on the end, and proceeded to jab away at the short fat guy. Nelson does a masterful job of bobbing and weaving before he lands a vicious overhand right. Look familiar?
