Neil Magny ready for a sixth fight this year
“I’ve been blessed to go into that fight and walk out without a scratch on me. So if they have an opportunity to fight a sixth time this year, I will definitely accept it.”
On Saturday at UFC 179, welterweight Neil Magny tied the modern-era UFC record for most wins in a year, with five.

Until now the sole fighter to reach the mark had been Roger Huerta, back in in 2007. Magny’s run is all the more extraordinary as he lost the two fights before that. And it is all more extraordinary as Magny is ready for another one before the end of the year.
“I just go right back to the gym and wait for the next call, who ever it may be,” said Magny post fight. “Whether it’s someone in the top 15 or not, I am ready to go back out there and prove my self again.”
