Looking forward to the year ahead, what do you want to accomplish in 2011?
I want to get myself to the top and establish myself as one of the best at 185. I’m going to keep working harder and go out and win every fight. Champions are measured by how they pick themselves up after every fight whether it’s a win or a loss. Whenever I’ve lost I’ve come out as a better Mark Munoz and that’s the key to getting better. Whatever happens in your fight you need to look back at it and see what you can improve.
Is there anyone you’d like to fight in 2011 or are you willing to fight whoever the UFC throws at you?
I want a top five opponent in 2011. I just want to fight the best guys out there and whoever the UFC picks for me I’ll be happy to fight.
