The UFC has proposed a fight between Gegard Mousasi and Chris Weidman. The Dreamcatcher is game as Hell, but Weidman has gone dark. So Mousasi took the campaign to his social network.

UFC offered you the fight days ago, Chris Weidman,” wrote Mousasi. “Suddenly you have disappeared. Accept the fight already. I am waiting, pal.

Weidman offered an answer, of sorts.

Mousasi is on a four-fight win streak. His sole loss in the past seven fights was to Uriah Hall, and last month he avenged that one in the first. He is currently the #5 ranked middleweight contender. Weidman is ranked #4, and on a two-fight losing streak. The All-American lost his middleweight belt to Luke Rockhold at UFC 194 last December, and lost via KO to Yoel Romero last month.
