Looking around at the walls of my office, I’m reminded of a cold, hard reality: Most MMA artwork sucks.

That’s why I’m staring right now at a few framed MMA magazine covers and some vintage boxing posters, but no drawings or paintings of anything MMA-related. There just isn’t a hell of a lot cool stuff out there.

Sure there are exceptions.

Guys like Evan Shoman, who is so good that he gets accused of tracing almost as much as he gets props for his work, defy the usual convention. His work is top notch, especially when compared to the norm — artists like this guy and his gallery of manlove (his words, not mine).

Myself, I’m more into quirky art and prefer offbeat, non-traditional pieces, so when I stumbled upon this guy’s blog and saw his work, I was really impressed.
