Top Brave Combat Federation bantamweight contender Frans Mlambo is on a three-fight win streak in the largest mixed martial arts promotion in the Middle East. However, his last two wins, over Michael Deiga-Scheck and Felipe Efrain ended with a degree of controversy.

Efrain complained bitterly that this fight was stopped too soon.

Mlambo is set to face division champion Stephen Loman for the belt. But both Deiga-Scheck and Efrain are campaigning for rematches. Mlambo’s manager Razvan Porfiri recently spoke with the fighter about the calls for a rematch from not one but two fighters he recently defeated.

“What the referee was thinking is not in my control,” explained ‘The Black Mamba’. “That is the official decision and they must contest the referee. In order to earn my rematch against Stephen Loman, I had to go through Jalal Al Daja, Diega-Scheck and Efrain. The same applies for Diega-Scheck and Efrain. They have to fight and prove that they are worthy to get a rematch since I am on a three-fight winning streak. I would suggest that Diega must fight Efrain and whoever wins advances to the next level.”

While the date for the title fight with has not been set, Loman had congratulated Mlambo on his recent victory and had stated that he will be looking forward to the rematch. The pair fought for the first time at BRAVE #1 on September 23, 2016, with Loman winning the decision.

The South Africa Mlambo, who fights out of the famed Straight Blast Gym Ireland, is poised for stardom.
