Mitrione’s eye (and shoulder) is gross after UFC Fight Night Boston

Twice in the fight, Matt Mitrione was accidentally poked in the eye by Travis Browne, but it was a right straight in the third round that caused this:

If it’s not clear enough in the video, this picture should leave no doubt as to just how gross the eye injury was:

Despite the eye pokes, Mitrione hung in the whole fight, but was overcome in the third round after a pick takedown and lost by technical knockout.

On top of how is he looks, members of the Underground have speculated that Mitrione also suffered a shoulder injury on the takedown that led to the end of fight fight. Forum member ‘calpolkid’ posted this picture:

That definitely doesn’t look right!

Update: A day later, Mitrione’s has seemingly gotten worse!
