Mitrione vs. Gonzaga at UFC on FOX 13 in Dec

Marc Raimondi is reporting for FOX Sports that UFC heavyweights Matt Mitrionea Gabriel Gonzaga on Dec. 13 in Phoenix, live on UFC on FOX 13.

Mitrione, 36, has won two of his last three fights, most recently a 41-second KO of Derrick Lewis at Fight Night Foxwoods, and before that another first round KO, of Shawn Jordan. Gonzaga, 35, has also won two of his last three, but is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Stipe Miocic at UFC on FOX 10.

Both fighters hover just outside the top 15 in their division.

Heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Stefan Struve are already officially on the card, and a fight between heavyweights Junior dos Santos and Stipe Miocic is in the works, and would likely serve as the main event.
