Coming off the heels of yesterday’s report that welterweight prospect Anthony T.J. Waldburger has signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championships, FiveOuncesOfPain.com has been informed by sources that the UFC has also added David Mitchell to its welterweight division.
A native of Windsor, California, Mitchell will make his UFC debut against Waldburger at UFC Fight Night 22 on September 15 in Austin, Texas.
Mitchell is a highly touted prospect who has accumulated an unblemished 11-0 record while competing for such California-based promotions as the Palace Fighting Championships and Gladiator Challenge.
