Mir wants five round rematch with Arlovski

Arlovski defeated Mir in a very close decision that could have easily gone the other direction after both fighters accepted the co-main event fight just about a month out from the September card.
Mir’s head coach Ricky Lundell tells “UFC Tonight” that they have already expressed to the UFC their desire for a five-round rematch with at least eight weeks to prepare for the fight this time.
Mir accepted the fight with Arlovski less than two weeks removed from his first-round knockout over Todd Duffee, which was his second knockout finish in 2015.
Unfortunately, Mir was flat for a big part of the fight with Arlovski although many feel he still got the job done to earn a decision win. The judges disagreed and gave Arlovski the win instead and now Mir wants another shot with a little more notice to prepare this time.
