Mir vs. Arlovski targeted for UFC 191

Today a report surfaced of a rumored fight between heavyweights Frank Mir and Andrei Arlovski at UFC 191, which is September 5th in Las Vegas. Ariel Helwani first reported to the potential fight on UFC Tonight:

The UFC has targeted Frank Mir vs. Andrei Arlovski at UFC 191. We’ll see if it gets done. They also reached out to Alistair Overeem. He wants to wait for Junior dos Santos to get healthy. Dos Santos said he’d be ready in December or January.

Both Mir and Arlovski have recently had a career resurgence in the heavyweight division. Frank Mir is coming off two straight first round knock out victories and Andrei Arlovski had won three straight fights since returning to the UFC.
