The Vegas-based Frank Mir is fighting the Vegas-based Roy Nelson, for the Vegas-based UFC, at the MGM Grand, in Las Vegas. Thus it is only fitting to report the odds for the fight.

Following a 2009 loss to Jeff Mosnon, Nelson was on a four fight win streak (over Kimbo Slice, James McSweeney, Brendan Schaub, and Stefan Struve) before getting beaten up by Junior Dos Santos in his last outing. Mir on the other hand has faced a far higher caliber of fighter his last half dozen outings, splitting fights with Brock Lesnar, beating Little Nog, Cheick Kongo, and Cro Cop, and losing to Shane Carwin.
