UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will defend his title against Alistair Overeem, on September 9, in Cleveland, OH. The fight was widely expect, and was made official by the UFC today.
Miocic took the belt from FabricioWerdum at UFC 198 earlier month, via an incredible KO while backpedalling. He is now on a three-fight win streak, having previously taken out Mark Hunt and Andrei Arlovski and Werdum.
Overeem too earned a KO ealier this month, over Andrei Arlovski, which extended his winning streak to four.
UFC 203 will be the league’s first time in Cleveland.
