Miletich offers up a piece of MMA history
Pat Miletich was the 170lb UFC champ back when 170lbs was known as the lightweight division. Pat is offering up a piece of MMA history to raise money for a good cause.

Like a few other pioneers, Pat Miletich doesn’t usually sell any of his stuff from the old MMA days, unless it’s for a good reason.
According to Miletich, it’s all because of a little boy named Rory, the son of Miletich’s nephew, a local police officer. Rory was born with a defect that prevented fluid from draining properly from his brain, so at just two weeks old he had to undergo an expensive surgery to correct the problem.
His prognosis now is promising, Miletich said, but his parents have been left with a substantial medical bill. This seemed like as good a time as any for Miletich to dig through his old MMA memorabilia, he said, and lo and behold, there in the basement, he found these shorts.
Those just ended up sticking around, Miletich said. They were one of the few things I kept, which is good since they’re probably the most valuable. I’ve just had them laying around since 1998.
