The co-main event of the UFC on FOX 11 featured a women’s bantamweight title between two former number one contenders, Liz Carmouche and Miesha Tate.

After a lackluster first two rounds, Miesha Tate went for broke in the final round of her UFC on FOX 11 fight with Liz Carmouche.

Tate poured it on, looking for the finish, in a furious final five minutes. She succeeded in getting Carmouche into a rear-naked choke that would have made most opponents tap.

Carmouche didn’t tap, and went the distance. But the effort was enough to seal the fight. The former Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champ got back into the win column with a unanimous decision on Orlando, taking across-the-board, 30-27 scores.
