Pop star Michael Jackson’s son, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. also known as Prince, is an avid BJJ student, and earned a blue belt under Ryron and Rener Gracie at The Gracie Academy back in 2013.

Prince is a great student,” said Rener recently. “He is one of our best. He’s extremely dedicated and very attentive to detail. He is already in the class of adults and is very friendly with all colleagues. He expressed no desire to fight MMA, for example, but has many of the qualities we look for in a student of jiu-jitsu.

Prince, 19, was recently asked by a TMZ Sports stringer if he planned to compete in BJJ any time soon.

No sir,” he replied.

Prince was then asked if he planned on becoming a black belt, and offered a classic response.

You know, I just plan on learning,” he said. “A black belt only covers two inches of your ass.
