Michael Bisping: Why call out the number four guy?
Michael Bisping: “…I never understood why you call out the number four guy. You know what I mean? If you’re in that position, why call out the number four guy?”

Michael Bisping knows a think or two about calling out fighters. He’s always happy to say exactly what he feels and has always been asking for a title shot.
Bisping will next fight Tim Kennedy, and will be calling for a title shot, not a fight against a lower ranked fighter, like he claims some of his peers do:
“What can I say, I’ve been around a long time, and listen, I’m never shy to say what’s on my mind. Sometimes, I piss people off and they want to fight me for that reason. Other times people want to fight me because I’ve been around the UFC for a long, long time and they think they’ll get a bit of recognition from that. Other times they just want to climb the ladder and think I’m the logical next match up.
But, for those people that call me out, I never understand it. Listen, when I beat Tim Kennedy, I’m calling out Chris Weidman, or the winner of Machida vs. Weidman. I want to fight the champion, I never understood why you call out the number four guy. You know what I mean? If you’re in that position, why call out the number four guy? Call out the damn champion. You don’t get anything from fighting me, you ain’t going to get the belt. I want the belt, I don’t want a big payday and the main event and maybe a few more Twitter followers. I want to be the world champion.”
