MMAjunkie.com today learned from sources close to UFC middleweight Jorge Rivera that he and British slugger Michael Bisping have each verbally agreed to meet at UFC 127.
Although not officially announced by the organization, UFC 127 is expected to take place Feb. 27, likely at Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia. The show is expected to air on pay-per-view.
While Rivera initially earned middling success going 5-5 in his first 10 UFC bouts, “El Conquistador” has undergone a career resurgence as of late with three consecutive UFC wins. “I really, really want this next fight,” Rivera said. “I not only want the fight, I want to f— him up.”
