Michael Bisping: PED users should be banned for life
Michael Bisping: “If you’re taking performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) and you get caught, in my mind, you should be banned for life.”

Athletic commissions have started to look at stiffer penalties for athletes caught using performance enhancing drugs, but for British middleweight Michael Bisping, he thinks there should be the most harsh penalty available, a ban for life:
The new rules state that a fighter testing positive for steroids, HGH, synthetic testosterone or other similar performance enhancers will get a three-year suspension for strike one, a four-year suspension for strike two and a lifetime ban for strike three.
If Bisping were in charge, however, a one-strike policy would be in effect.
“If you’re taking performance-enhancing drugs and you get caught, in my mind, you should be banned for life,” Bisping said.
Bisping did comment that he felt some of the new penalties were a little “troubling,” including an 18-month ban for fighters who tested positive for marijuana.
