Michael Bisping has long faced heated online criticism. “Can’t win the big ones,” they said. “A gatekeeper,” they said, adding, “with pillow fists.” The general drone was that his biggest fight was being on the wrong side of the mother of all highlight reels KOs.
The whining never ended, and Bisping kept on fighting.
Now ‘The Count’ is tied for the most fights in UFC history (with 27), holds the UFC record for most wins (with 20), and is the middleweight champion of the world. Back out the fighters with an asterisk by their name for legal or illegal PED use or both, and Bisping has two losses in his 12 years of professional fighting. He lost a split decision to Rashad Evans in 2007, and he got guillotined by Luke Rockhold in 2014, a fight we would avenge via KO to take the title in June.
Now he has taken to Instagram to answer the haters. It came with a pic of his foot!
“Here’s a random picture of my foot,” he wrote. “Interested to see all the negative comments that can come from the sad twats that seem to comment on my Instagram pics. Here’s the facts you losers, and I apologize for any foul language. Get a life, man I actually feel sorry for you. Why do you even follow me to talk s***?
“Occasionally, I look at some of your profiles….. Wow!!! Please stop. I don’t respond because I actually feel sorry for you, because you are some of the saddest looking Virgin a**holes I’ve ever seen.
“Anyway, I’m going back to chilling in my massive house, with my beautiful children and wife, with my UFC world belt staring at me right now. Regardless of anything you can say, I’m ridiculously happy. Can any of you spiteful people say that? Haha nope! Otherwise you jealous a**holes wouldn’t spend your time hating on Instagram.
“Meanwhile I hope you find something at the job centre, a job, a girlfriend, or maybe just a sense of purpose and happiness. God knows your life is lacking if this is how you like to spend your free time. Find something useful to do, add to the world, be happy and spread love. Oh and in the meantime…. Go f*** yourself. The blast generated 1,200 posts and rising. Best part is the followers who however inadvertently well illustrate Bisping’s point.
