Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has taken a keen interest in Brazilian jiu-jitsu recently, and he added another famous fighter to his growing list of training partners this week.

ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci joined Zuckerberg on the mats, and the billionaire entrepreneur posted a video of their session on his Instagram account.

In the clip, the pair can be seen practicing their striking, and Zuckerberg couldn’t help but jokingly tease a possible debut in mixed martial arts in the caption.

“Great learning from jiu jitsu legend @mikeymusumeci… and starting to prepare for our MMA debuts ,” Zuckerberg posted.

Musumeci subsequently posted an image of he and Zuckerberg sharing in the other of his passions in life – Italian food.

“Darth Rigatoni” revealed the burgeoning friendship between them as they dined on some well-earned pizza after their training session.

“So much fun hanging out and training with my friend @zuck . He passes the vibe check!! ❤️,” Musumeci quipped.

Zuckerberg began training Brazilian jiu-jitsu in 2022 and has been competing in white belt grappling competitions since then.

His foray into the sport has seen him rub shoulders with MMA figureheads like ONE chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong and UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski, and he gets regular works out in Guerilla Jiu-Jitsu in California.

Musumeci, for his part, has enjoyed a meteoric rise to stardom since joining ONE Championship last year.

The American grappling superstar has won four straight bouts with the global martial arts giant, and he claimed the inaugural flyweight submission grappling strap in dominant fashion against Brazilian black belt Cleber Sousa at ONE on Prime Video 2 last October.

Most recently, Musumeci defended his world title by submitting IBJJF world champion Osamah Almarwai via rear-naked choke at ONE Fight Night 10 – the Asian promotion’s historic U.S. on-ground debut – in May.

The 26-year-old has spoken of his desire to test himself under MMA rules in the future, and with Zuckerberg in tow, it appears that work towards a possible transition has begun.
