Chad Mendes is without a doubt the number one contender at featherweight, and despite two losses to the champion, is hoping a title fight is
Per Mendes’ manager Mike Roberts, the two-time title challenger’s current contract expires in August. There is also one fight left on the agreement with the UFC.
Mendes wants to renegotiate his current contract before he fights next. According to his manager, he also wants to fight the winner of UFC 189’s main event between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor.
