UFC president Dana White spoke recently about bringing Melendez into the UFC ‘ASAP’ but apparently right now is not possible. Strikeforce announced today via twitter that as originally planned, lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez will be defending his title against Jorge Masvidal on December 17.
