Conor McGregor brought Hall Of Fame boxing referee Joe Cortez into his camp to supervise his sparring for MayMac and teach him the nuances of the rules of boxing. Conor knows you can’t throw, submit, elbow, knee, or submit, but exactly what constitutes a knockdown is a little more complex. And in boxing, unlike MMA, a knockdown generally wins the round 10-8.
