Conor McGregor will fight to unify the featherweight title at UFC 194, but after he does that he is hopeful for a fight with former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar:
If interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor can defeat “Junior” at UFC 194 and Frankie Edgar can shortchange “Money” at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 22 live finale — which both take place in December — then “Notorious” has the next title fight already mapped out.
“If he beats Jose Aldo, he told me he would also like to fight Frankie,” White told FOX Sports Live. “We’ll see how this thing plays out.”
