McGregor & Sheamus Twitter bicker over who would win a real fight

Two native sons of Dublin, Conor McGregor and Sheamus, are getting bitter on Twitter. While both men have transcended the cultural scourges of lucky charms, leprechauns and alcoholism, and are known instead as warriors, they just don’t get along.
It began when McGregor appeared on SI Now and was asked how he would fare in a fight with WWE superstar Sheamus (real name: Sheamus O’Shaunessy). McGregor of course fights at featherweight, while O’Shaunessy is almost exactly double that, at over 19 stone (121 kg).
“I would whoop his ass,” replied McGregor accurately. “It would be no contest.”
Sheamus took exception, via Twitter. Editor’s Note: This exchange is best read in an Irish accent.
