UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor recently completed the open workout ahead of his challenge Saturday night vs. lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez. If he wins, McGregor will become the first UFC fighter to hold two belts simultaneously. UFC Hall of Famers BJ Penn and Randy Couture are the sole fighters to have held two belts, but neither owned both at once.

And McGregor will be fighting in the main event of UFC 205, the biggest card in mixed martial arts history, with three title fights. ‘Notorious’ expressed supreme confidence in a post-workout interview with UFC host and reporter Megan Olivi.

Saturday night I’ll be immortal, said McGregor, as transcribed by Mike Bohn and Abbey Subhan for MMAjunkie. I get the second belt, raise it up, never been done before. It means absolutely everything to me. It’s my life’s work. We’re ready.

I feel I can do it many ways. I can paint a picture inside that octagon. All you need to do is look at my previous fights. They’re all different.

UFC 205 takes place at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, November 12th.
