McGregor leaps from cage, confronts an amused Aldo
When Conor McGregor beat Dennis Siver in the second round at UFN 59, he leapt from the Octagon and confronted an amused Jose Aldo, who was seated at cageside.

When Conor McGregor beat Dennis Siver in the second round of the main event of UFC Fight Night 59, he shot from the Octagon than anyone since BJ Penn beat Caol Uno. McGregor’s vault was to confront UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo, who was seated at cageside.
Aldo smiled in amusement.
“I think it’s great for UFC and the weight class,” said Aldo shortly afterwards. “It’s the biggest fight the weight class has received. I can’t wait to fight him.”

The usual process would have been for Aldo to have a faceoff in the cage with McGregor. But Aldo only does one thing in the Octagon and that is fight. Anything else he thinks is bad luck.
“He is superstitious,” explained UFC president Dana White. “He will not step foot inside the Octagon unless it is to fight. I just wanted to clarify that because it looked weird but nobody told Jose and he doesn’t go in there expect to fight.”
The featherweight division is going to have its biggest pay per view ever at UFC 187, and one of the biggest fights of the year. Who do you think takes it?
