Today ESPN announced the nominees for it’s annual sports awards, the ESPY’s, and three mixed martial artists were nominated for awards: Robbie Lawler, Conor McGregor, and Holly Holm:
A trio of UFC fighters are up for ESPYS this year.
Conor McGregor, Holly Holm and Robbie Lawler were all nominated for ESPYS, ESPN’s sports awards, it was announced Wednesday.
McGregor was nominated in the breakthrough athlete and best fighter categories. Holm is up for best play and best upset for her UFC 193 knockout win over Ronda Rousey. Lawler, like McGregor, is also on the list for best fighter.
