McGregor: It’s time for Mayweather to step into the Octagon

Floyd Mayweather has a perfect record in boxing, and turns 41 this month; he’s not going to jeopardize it (except, maybe, to box McGregor again). However, Money spends more than he makes. His business ventures are not at all likely to compensate him as well as boxing has. For the past several months he has discussed fighting in the UFC.
The latest tease on his social network was shot at Syndicate MMA, and captioned, “Come at the king, you best not miss…” Mayweather was wearing shorts with the logo for Irish bookmaker Paddy Power. Yah, it’s an ad. But could it be more?
“2018, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, MMA,” he began. “What are the odds, Paddy, what are the odds?”

UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor is game, if coy.
I’d do as I please against him, said McGregor recently to comedian and TMZ Camera guy Adam Glyn. But if he does do it, I know he’s flirting with it, I would have respect for him. I tink he would get his earned respect then if he was to step in.
“He’s engaging, we’re engaging, so we’ll see. I’m currently in negotiations to face my next opponent. We have many options. There’s the current interim lightweight champion. There’s an undefeated Dagestani in maybe a big Russian event. There’s obviously the Diaz trilogy. Of course, the Mayweather fight is there. There’s many options. So we’re just at the table at the moment.
McGregor was asked if the content Mayweather is posting is just for talk or serious?

McGregor was in New York City to support a charity that supports Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in his hometown of Crumlin.
