McGregor ‘interested’ in Diaz rematch

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor was beaten by lightweight Nate Diaz, at welterweight, in the main event of UFC 196.
A TMZ Sports stringer caught up with McGregor as he was shopping on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, and McGregor said he is open to a rematch with Diaz.
“I’ve been good,” said McGregor. “Very, very good. I’m feeling fresh, I’m ready to go again. It was a good fight – a helluva fight.”
“I look forward to coming back … with a vengeance.”
McGregor was then asked if there will be a rematch with Diaz.
“I think I’d like to see that, yah,” he replied. “It’s one that interests me, most certainly… When I look at the fight, I was winning the fight. I won the first round and a half, I’d say. I’d love to get that one back.
“We’ll see. We’ll see. We’ll see how it goes. Money talks. Life is good. Life is good.”
It is widely believed that McGregor will be on the UFC 200 card on Jul 9, 2016 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. And it is believed he will be fighting Frankie Edgar.

There have been rumors that McGregor turned down a rematch with Diaz, but that was sharply shot down by UFC president Dana White.
