UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor brought former two-weight boxing world champion and current commentator Paulie Malignaggi in as a sparring partner. The two sparred twelve rounds, and McGregor was asked about it in the second episode of Showtime’s All Access: Mayweather vs. McGregor.

He stayed in there, gotta give respect to that, but that was it, said McGregor, as transcribed by Damon Martin for MMA Weekly. He came, he got his ass whooped and that’s it.

The two later sparred another twelve rounds and when photos were published that appeared to show McGregor knocking Malignaggi down, the former quit and loudly protested on his social network. And McGregor struts forward unimpeded.

I am always told I can’t do this, I can’t do that,” he said. “I feel when someone tells you, you can’t do something, that’s when you must do something. I am going to stop this man. There’s no doubt in my mind.

This man will be unconscious inside four rounds.

Money’s biggest concern on the show was proving that he did not have money problems. During the MayMac media tour, McGregor gleefully led the crowd the crowd in chants of “Pay Your TAXES.” Mayweather recently petitioned the IRS in court to hold off on 22 million in back taxes until a major liquidity event in August.

People that’s saying I’ve got problems with the IRS, you don’t have problems with the IRS cause you’re not making Floyd Mayweather type money, said Mayweather. I still have all my homes — I’m sorry ladies and gentlemen at home — I still have all my mansions, I should say. I got a $30 million house in Beverly Hills. I got a $30 million house in New York City.

Right now, I’m buying another $30 million house in Miami. I still have everything. I still live a lavish life.

Mayweather also said his sons dropped $10,000 each on back to school shopping, while his daughter spent $20,000 on a purse. And he discussed a new business venture! Girl Collection is a Vegas strip club that he plans to take nationwide.

McGregor reportedly buys land with his money.
