A torn ACL has forced “The Ultimate Fighter 11” winner Court McGee (13-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) to withdraw from a meeting with Jesse Bongfeldt (21-7-1 MMA, 0-0-1 UFC) at UFC 131.
Sources close to the event today informed MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) of the injury, though UFC officials have yet to make an announcement.
UFC 131 takes place June 11 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and features a heavyweight headliner between former champ Brock Lesnar and challenger Junior Dos Santos, who also serve as coaches on “The Ultimate Fighter 13.”
