Mayweather Sr. calculates Conor McGregor worth vs. Jr.
Floyd Mayweather Sr: “When you see Floyd and Conor McGregory fight, you’re talking about he wants $100,000,000, I can go lower than that …”

Over a year ago, Floyd Mayweather’s camp floated the idea of a boxing match with Conor McGregor, claiming that the fight was made, and multiple times citing a date. It’s an interesting way to try to make a fight, but it worked to the extent that McGregor immediately taken with the idea.
However, McGregor’s boss, UFC president Dana White was dubious in the extreme, at one point asking what commission would even sanction the fight. Nearly everything has now fallen in place with White negotiating the fight.
A central point of contention is the revenue split. White suggested that with good pay per view buys, Mayweather might make $100,000,000 and McGregor perhaps $75,000,000. During a recent interview, Floyd Mayweather Sr. was asked what size payday McGregor deserves.
“Man, when you see it, I’m going to tell you what you’ll think he deserves … five dollars,” quipped the elder Mayweather. “Five dollars. When you see Floyd and Conor McGregory fight, you’re talking about he wants $100,000,000, I can go lower than that, and say five pennies. “
The best guess at present is that the boxing match will take place in the fall.
