I really cannot understand the EA MMA hate that was posted on this board when the demo came out. I know a lot of the post were very positive at first, but then suddenly there was an influx of negative posts that came from nowhere to push the positivity down to the What If forum.
I know that I am biased, because I am in the damn game, but I’m also a avid gamer, so I feel that I can give a legitimate review based on my past video game experience and my knowledge of fighting. The game is good. The striking feels realistic and the grappling even moreso. The characters move around a bit “skatey” but I think that doesn’t detract from the gameplay, just looks a bit odd.
Overall the game has a wide variety of techniques and finishes, and pretty much kicks ass. I got to play a full build of the game, and they pretty much had to usher me out of the offices because it had enough replay value to keep me there and talking shit to the developers for hours.
Just my half a nickle.
