Second withdrawal from the main event in two days…
Only a day after sources said that Mac Danzig was pulling out of the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 22, the main event has likely changed again. Matt Wiman, who was originally set to face Danzig, has apparently suffered an injury in training and could be forced to withdrew as well. Wiman was set to face Efrain Escudero as of yesterday, but now that may have to be changed.
Escudero was originally scheduled to fight John Gunderson on the preliminary card before he was bumped into the main card yesterday. A search for a potential replacement for Wiman is underway.
