Heavyweights Matt Mitrione and Tim Hague are expected to meet on the UFC’s yet-to-be-announced Jan. 22 card.
Sources close to the fight confirmed the news to MMA Fighting on Sunday, saying both fighters have agreed to the matchup and have signed bout agreements.
The card is expected to be a Fight Night “Fight for the Troops” card at Fort Hood, Texas. The UFC has traditionally held a Spike TV Fight Night card in January, and Spike is expected to broadcast the main card.
