Rumble busted my Sweedish Meatballs – Matt is there any possibility of you starting up ur own podcast in the near future ? I think your take on things is fantastic and your funny as hell

Lytle and I just started one up. It’s called “Bumpin’ Gums” and…I honestly have no clue where to find it! I’ll figure it out here shortly. We’re still working on the format and we both have some conceptual things to modify

Morgz –

High 5 Meathead! Thanks for doing it!

We know you can knock a fool unconscious, but tell us about your ground game these days. Are you training in a gi any? What level is yoru pure BJJ now? Who do you train rasslin with?

You know, my ground game had always been something I’ve focused on I’ve trained with the best in the world (Neil Melanson, Josh Barnett, cyborg Abreu, Pablo, Bucheche (sp?), Braulio etc..) and I do well all things considered (I think you’d be surprised) but I gave up my neck in my weakest defensive position and I dove back in for a single when I was already out of a takedown. I’ll grapple against most and do well. So, I guess I’m saying…fuck, I don’t know man

Koreanflash – How many fights/years do you have left competing in MMA?

Who are the best fighters to grab beers with and which fighters are the ones that you cannot stand?

Which player from another sport do you think has what it takes to be a legitimate top 10 UFC fighter?

Thanks for taking the time Matt!

“How many fights/years do you have left competing in MMA?”

I take virtually no beating in my fights. I’m easily dancing til I’m 40, if I choose to. If the company wants to pay an exciting, go for the kill cuz he doesn’t know any other way to fight fighter the right money to put on a show, than I’ll throw these cinder blocks around!

“Who are the best fighters to grab beers with and which fighters are the ones that you cannot stand?”

Dude, for the most part, everybody is really cool. Some guys take themselves entirely too seriously, IMO and they kinda suck cuz they can’t clown themselves or take a clowning. No names to speak of though.

Which player from another sport do you think has what it takes to be a legitimate top 10 UFC fighter?

Well shit, I’m not even a “top 10 fighter” per the “rankings” so if y’all find em, lemme get advice from em too!

BathSaltFaceFeeder – off that 2002 Giants team, who would you NOT want to fight?

Hmm….Jeremy Shockey. Tough bastard. When he and Brandon Short fought in camp, he impressed me

GOATherder – What’s the hold up with the Travis fight? Do you think he’s ducking?

If you could fight anyone in history, in a 5 round fight, who would you choose for a 1st round KO victim?

What’s your favourite colour?

Hope things are better with your contract situation.

Peace and love Meathead.

What’s the hold up with the Travis fight? Do you think he’s ducking?

Nah, I don’t think Travis is ducking. He’s down. I think he will regret signing them papers though if he does.

“If you could fight anyone in history, in a 5 round fight, who would you choose for a 1st round KO victim?”

I’d want to fight Teh Fedor. He’s pure legend.

“What’s your favourite colour?”

You gonna take me on a date if I answer currently?

“Hope things are better with your contract situation.”

Thanks, I’m flying out to Vegas right now to have a sit down.

WorlynnLotD – What are your plans for after MMA.? Perhaps a new business venture, some investing, golfing.? I excluded porn but let’s not completely shut the door on that, not yet.

Be a regular dude, my guy. Become a firefighter at Purdue, go to my kids games, maybe announce color for local HS football. I don’t need the celebrity life.

Poopyface TomatoNose – Matt, if Fedor signs outside the UFC would you welcome him back to mma?

As of right now, if he’s outside of the ufc, I couldn’t fight him but, yes, I’d love to fight him

UGCTT_REMEMBER MY NAME – Can you give us your thoughts on the Nick Diaz situation? #FreeNickDiaz

Have you ever fought someone you thought was on steroids?

It’s an absolute disaster and a disgrace. What a shame they soiled their name even further with this axe to grind debacle.

Cub a Contender? Fuhgeddaboudit –

What was the reasoning behind shooting on Ben in your last fight? Just trying to mix it up and make him think or did you see an opening?

Did you feel you had the striking advantage and if so did you feel a big speed difference?

Some people are asking for an apology because they bet their screenname on your fight and lost 🙂 (His name got changed to IGargleAmishMothballs)

Regarding Ben, it was over confidence. I felt him dissolving right there in front of me. I felt I could do anything to him and it would work. I tried and failed miserably but I learned from it, that’s fosho
